These three days of golden monkeys trek and Bisoke hiking will take you to the mountain Gorillas in Rwanda where you will enjoy seeing these amazing golden creatures and observing the beautiful view of the crater lakebisoke. Volcano national park is known as the home of many primate speeches including golden monkeys. The Volcano National park forest offers a unique birding opportunity, cultural experiences, a scenic allure of stunning hills, and lush vegetation inhabited by the elusive primates. The golden monkey trek activity is the most enchanting experience in this forest. You will have an experience of a lifetime watching at close range these majestic apes as they feed, play, and relax.
You will be transferred to Musanzeand have discoveredMusanze town and enjoy the urban and ibyiwacucultural dance.
You will have an early morning breakfast and move to the Park headquarters to join other trackers in a briefing about the golden monkeys’trekking rules at 7:45 am. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Golden monkeys which can take you 1-8 hours. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access by tourists. You will have one hour to stay with the Golden monkeys. After the golden monkey’s trek, you will be transferred to your hotel.
You will have an early morning breakfast and move to the Park headquarters to join other trackers in a briefing about the golden monkeys’ trekking rules at 7:45 am. After the hiking briefing, the driver will take you and the guide to the hiking starting point where you will hike to the top of the beautiful crater lake of Bisoke and you will probably see the gorillas by chance. After the hiking, you will be taken back to your hotel in Kigali.
