Meet your safari guide who will give you a short briefing on the wonderful events ahead. Begin your exploration of this wonderful country as you drive to Tarangire. Arrive and check in at your camp followed by lunch. You will have an afternoon game viewing drive. Spend the next day with morning and afternoon game viewing drives. Overnight at Tarangire Osupuko Lodge (B, L, D daily)

After breakfast, depart to the beautiful Lake Manyara, a shallow alkaline lake that shimmers in a cleft in the Great Rift Valley. Arrive and embark on a game viewing drive. Lake Manyara safaris offers many unique views including elephant, giraffe, buffalo and wildebeest can be found grazing in unexpected clearings or heading towards the water to drink or wash, and the rivers and riverbeds provide scenic vistas for possible animal spotting. You will have late lunch Lake Manyara Serena before continuing to the famous Ngorongoro highlands. Rest of the day spend at leisure.

On the second day, descend down the crater for an enchanting game viewing drive. Known as ‘the eighth wonder of the world’ the Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s best-known wildlife arenas. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it offers a unique biosphere, which has remained virtually unchanged since the dawn of time. Deep within the Crater, enclosed by towering walls, some 25,000 large mammals wander the plains, lakes and forests of ‘the land that time forgot’, dominated by enormous bull elephants, rhinos and lions.

Overnight at Plantation Lodge (B, L, D daily)

This morning depart Ngorongoro and cross over to the neighbouring Serengeti National Park stopping en route at Ol Duvai Gorge. Known as the ‘Cradle of Mankind’, this is one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world.

Arrive in Serengeti this late afternoon with a game viewing drive as you are transferred to your tented camp. On the second day, you will have morning and afternoon game viewing drives. Optional activities while at the Serengeti include visits to local Masai village to learn the local culture of this colourful tribe. An adventure worth taking is the balloon safari. Launching at dawn, rising as the sun rises, you gently float over the plains of the magnificent Serengeti. Overnight at Serengeti Osupuko Tented Camp (L, D, B Daily)

Enjoy a game viewing drive as you are transferred to the airstrip for your 1050hrs Coastal flight to Zanzibar arriving at 1400hrs. On arrival, you will be transferred to Bluebay Beach Resort for dinner overnight.

Spend the next three days at leisure by the beach. Bluebay Beach Resort is situated on the finest wide, white, sandy beach on the island of Zanzibar. The Resort is on the most beautiful 30-acre site with its bedroom cottages located on rising ground overlooking verdant gardens, the public areas, the pool, the more than 1,000 beautiful palm trees, the sparkling white beach and the azure seas beyond.
