You can apply for an Online Visa by visiting the United Republic of Tanzania. You are required to fill in the online form, make payment, and submit your application online. Your application will be internally reviewed and processed.
Applicants will be notified through e-mails whether your application has been accepted or rejected. You may also TRACK your application status through online. Applicants will be required to visit the nearest Tanzanian Embassies or Consular Offices for interviews.
This visa is granted to foreign citizens for the purposes of Visit, Tourism, Leisure, Holiday, attending Conference, Humanitarian and charity activities, Family Visit, Health Treatment or any other purpose as may be determined by the issuing authority. Its validity is 90 days for a single entry.
Business visa may be issued for a period not exceeding 90 days to foreign nationals who wish to enter in the United Republic of Tanzania for any short-term professional roles, short business or any training purpose.
It is issued to Directors of Companies registered in Tanzania those who do not reside in the country. The maximum validity of this Visa is 12 months.
This Visa may be issued to foreign nationals for the purpose of transiting through to another destination outside the United Republic for a period not exceeding seven days. Applicants may require to provide proof of a Visa of the destination country or Flight ticket.
It is issued to a holder of diplomatic services or official passport or Travel Document of recognized International Organization those who are on official duty.
Student visa is granted to foreign applicants who enters the Country for the purpose of Academic conducts such as Research Students, Intern, Volunteering, EAC Students, Exchange students (EAC and Exchange students are free of charge) and Prospective Students those are admitted in recognized and legally registered Institutions. It is issued for a period of two years.
