Drive through the City to the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre and thereafter proceed to the City Centre for a quick early lunch.
Thereafter drive to the Northern Rwanda with stops for photo shooting, the Countryside is so beautiful. Smooth road meanders around the hills and into the valleys and the local people welcomes you with waving all the way.
Cross border into Uganda and arrive for dinner and overnight at either;

Early breakfast and drive up for Gorilla trek at Mgahingamountains, the oldest and the hugest family group in the World. After a 1-hr Gorilla viewing trek back and get into your Vehicle, drive back to your Hotel for lunch. In the afternoon enjoy a visit to the local village.

Breakfast and thereafter check out for a drive back to Rwanda. After border crossing, you will visit the Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo.
These twin lakes are great spots to be visited and used to be referred to as neglected gems but things have changed and Burera and Ruhondo are a place not worth missing out on.
Their deep blue waters ringed by steep hills and tall waterfalls with the outlines of the nearby Virunga Volcanoes provide a spectacular backdrop.
You will have a tasty Lake Lunch at Ruhondo Beach Resort accessible by a boat transfer across Lake Ruhondo.
Take good photos around followed by a drive back to Kigali city for overnight on bed and breakfast basis.
