Overview
These three days of golden monkeys trek and Bisoke hiking will take you to the mountain Gorillas in Rwanda where you will enjoy seeing these amazing golden creatures and observing the beautiful view of the crater lakebisoke. Volcano national park is known as the home of many primate speeches including golden monkeys. The Volcano National park forest offers a unique birding opportunity, cultural experiences, a scenic allure of stunning hills, and lush vegetation inhabited by the elusive primates. The golden monkey trek activity is the most enchanting experience in this forest. You will have an experience of a lifetime watching at close range these majestic apes as they feed, play, and relax.

You will be met by our Safaris driver/guide at the Kigali International airport. You will take part in a debriefing about the safari then drive to and overnight at the hotel Virunga (you may choose to sleep in Kigali depending on Time arrived at the airport).
After breakfast, you will be driven to Volcanoes National Park. Upon arrival, you will take part in a presentation on The Golden Monkey and a briefing by the Volcanoes National Park guides. We encourage trekkers to be physically fit and healthy. It is also important to wear good hiking boots, long trousers, and gloves for protection against stinging nettles. You should bring snacks and sufficient drinking water as the trek is strenuous and the rainforest gets hot and humid during the day. You will spend one hour with the Golden Monkeys, but it is an hour you will never forget! After the visit, you will return to your hotel for lunch and later enjoy dinner and your overnight stay.
After Breakfast you will take part in a visit to Twin Lakes Burera and Ruhondo after this we will drive to Gorilla guardians’village where you will learn more about Rwandan culture in deep, and our lunch will take place at Muhabura hotel and drive to Gisenyi for our overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will take off for a morning boat ride on Lake Kivu. On the cruise, you will have the chance to see a variety of birdlife and different water animals on the lakeshore. You willalso visit the Hot Springs and then return to the hotel for your overnight stay.
You will be picked up at your hotel and driven back to Kigali, with a short visit to the Genocide Memorial Centre at Gizozi. At this stop, you will also have time tointeract with local people discovering their artisanal products for sale. You will then transfer to Kigali airport. This is where your safari will end.
