Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International, Airport you will be met by Africa Marvel Tours representative and then transfer to Azure Airport Hotel in Nairobi. Before check-in, you will be briefed on the safari details.
Early morning pick up by our driver guide from your Nairobi Hotel. After a 2nd brief of the day’s schedule, you will start your journey going through Nairobi – Mombasa road, turn at Emali junction towards Amboseli National park passing via small towns and villages. Arrive at Amboseli in good time for check-in and lunch. Amboseli is well known for large herds of elephants and the backdrop view of Mount Kilimanjaro – the highest mountain in Africa. After lunch, you embark on afternoon game drives till the sun drops when you return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Start with early morning game drives. In mid-morning you return to your camp for breakfast relaxation and lunch thereafter. After lunch, you embark on an afternoon game drive till evening when you return to your tented camp for dinner and overnight. If lucky you spot big cats, buffaloes, rhinos, and elephants among many other wild game and bird species.
Today you start with breakfast and check out from your camp and depart Amboseli for the Namanga border point. After clearing with customs formalities your Tanzanian guide will pick you up and proceed with your safari in Tanzania to arrive at Lake Manyara in good time for check-in and lunch. After lunch and relaxation, you embark on an afternoon game viewing drive until the sun drops when you return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Start with breakfast, check out depart with en-route game viewing drives for the Ngorongoro conservancy area. Arrive at your lodge in time for check-in and lunch. After lunch, you will descend down the crater for an enchanting game viewing drive. Known as ‘the eighth wonder of the world’ the Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s best-known wildlife arenas. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it offers a unique biosphere, which has remained virtually unchanged since the dawn of time. Deep within the Crater, enclosed by towering walls, some 25,000 large mammals wander the plains, lakes, and forests of ‘the land that time forgot’, dominated by enormous bull elephants, rhinos, and lions.
Today you start with breakfast and check out from Bougainvillea Lodge. Drive to Serengeti wen route out game viewing drives to arrive at Thorn Tree Camp in good time for check-in and lunch. After lunch, you embark on an afternoon game viewing drive in the great plains of Serengeti where you have a chance of spotting all members of the big 5 among much more wildlife. At sunset return to your camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast departs full-day day game viewing drives in the central Serengeti National Park. The areas you will visit depend upon the location of the herds. During the short rainy season in November and December the herds move from the hills in the north to the plains in the south while during the longer rainy season from April to July they return back up north. This circle of life is determined by the rainfalls and the locations of the herds might vary from year to year but your guide will know where to find the animals and where to see them best. A visit to the Serengeti Visitor Centre is also possible. Here you can learn more about the history of the park and the research that is being done by the Frankfurter Zoological Society. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Early breakfast, check out and depart for the Isebania border of Kenya / Tanzania with packed lunch. After clearing with immigration officials at the border point, the Kenyan guide will pick you up ready for the continuation of the safari in Kenya.
Arrive at Masai Mara in good time for evening game viewing drive en route to the lodge for check-in, dinner, and overnight.
After breakfast you will embark on a full day game drive in the vast plains of Masai Mara with picnic lunch.
Masai Mara is an all year destination characterized with rolling plains of grassland savannah with high concentration of game in this part of Africa. You will have a chance to spot all the Lions, Elephants, Rhinos, Leopards, Hyenas, Buffaloes, Antelopes, Baboons and a wide variety of wild birds. At times in the Mara you can spot 4 of the big five members in a record hours time. The reserve is well known for the annual migration of millions of wildebeest, thousands of zebras and other antelopes, which occurs between July – October. A visit to a Masai village at minimal extra cost is encouraged; it gives direct connection to the traditional way of living by the Masai community. In the evening you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
You may opt for a balloon safari with champagne bush breakfast at an extra cost and thereafter have a full day game drive.
You start your day with an early morning game drive and thereafter return to the lodge for breakfast and check out. Depart for Nairobi with some stops en route to arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon. Lunch will be on your own before being transferred to the airport for check-in for your international flight back home with lots of safari memories.
