Day 1 ARRIVE & OVERNIGHT AT ENTEBBE

Arrival at Entebbe Intl’ Airport and be met by our Driver Guide for a warm welcome into Uganda followed by a transfer to Boma Guest House. He will also brief you on your safari ahead of time and advise if best to change monies on this day. Time allowing you will enjoy an Entebbe city tour and return to.

Day 2DRIVE TO KIBALE NP via FORT PORTAL (331kms / 5.5hrs)

Breakfast and thereafter leave Entebbe and drive to Kibale NP via Fort Portal where you will have nice and beautiful views of the Ruwenzori … “Mountains of the Moon” … and via the Albertine Escarpment of the western Rift valley, proceed on to check in and a lunch at Kibale Forest Camp.
In the afternoon go for a guided walk in Bigodi wetlands sanctuary, a community-developed and run conservation program. The proceeds from tourism at this site go directly to community members and pay for a day care, supporting sustainable agriculture and other income-generating program.
The sanctuary is home to a huge variety of bird and animal species – Birds and mammals in Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary, like the Shining Blue Kingfisher, Blue Throated Roller and other rare species and also find the fruiting trees, which attract Narina Trogon, Pied Hornbill, Yellow Spotted, Hairy Breasted and Yellow-Billed Barbets.
Afternoon at leisure, enjoy the surrounding tranquility.

Day 3CHIMPANZEE TREKKING in KIBALE FOREST (Trek time varies with Chimp locations)

A relatively early morning start, to report to the ranger station in Kibale National Park at 08.00am to track habituated Chimps – these delightful apes, more closely related to humans than to any other living creature, are tremendous fun to watch as they squabble and play in fruiting trees. This incredibly diverse forest is also a home to over 13 species of primates including red Colobus monkey, the rare L’Hoest, blue monkey, grey mangabey, pottos, black faced vervet monkeys, baboons and also bush babies.
A network of shady forest trails provides much to delight botanists and butterfly lovers, while birders are in for a treat with 335 species recorded including the endemic Prirogrine’s ground thrush. The elusive forest elephant, smaller and hairier that its savannah counterpart, moves seasonally into the developed part of the park, while other terrestrial mammals include buffalo, giant forest hog and a half dozen antelope species.
Lunch at the lodge and in the afternoon at leisure enjoy the tranquillity of the surroundings.

Day 4DRIVE FROM KIBALE TO QUEEN NATIONAL PARK (143kms / 2.5hrs)

Breakfast and head towards the South to Queen Elizabeth NP and arrive in good time for lunch at
Kasenyi Safari Camp. Afternoon enjoy a game drive in the Park. The Park has several spots of well-maintained game viewing tracks. This park has got over 200 kms of well-maintained game tracks.
In the evening have dinner and overnight at either;

Day 5AM GAME VIEWING + PM KAZINGA CHANNEL WATER SAFARI – (Water Safari – 2hrs)

Enjoy an early breakfast and leave for a morning game drive in the Park. The best time for game drives is in the morning hours where there are high chances of seeing elephants, buffaloes, lion and a variety of antelopes and other wildlife you can see.
Back at the lodge for lunch and a short while to relax.
In the afternoon have a exciting experience of a Water Safari on the Kazinga Channel: The boat safari lasts for 2 hours and it gives visitors the opportunity to see a variety of water-life including yawning hippos, water birds, buffaloes, huge elephants and all that comes to graze and take water at the banks of the Kazinga Channel.

Day 6GAME DRIVES EN-ROUTE TO ISHASHA SECTOR in the SOUTH of Queen Elizabeth NP   (75kms / 2hrs)

Breakfast at your Safari Camp and check out for a transfer with en-route game drive to Ishasha Sector in the Southern part of Queen Elizabeth NP. This will also be in search of the tree climbing lions.
found in the south among other wildlife. Check in at Ishasha Jungle Lodge and lunch. Thereafter an afternoon game drive as far as Ishasha River marking the border line to Congo DRC in this region.

Day 7DRIVE TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NP (64kms / 1.5hrs)

After breakfast drive to Bwindi NP with en-route game viewing drive in the Queen’s Ishasha sector.
Arrive at your lodge at Bwindi’s Buhoma side for check in and lunch.
Afternoon at leisure with dinner and overnight at either;

Day 8GORILLA TRACKING in BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NP (Time to watch the Gorillas – 1hr)

Early morning breakfast and thereafter be transferred to the Park with packed lunches and set off for Gorilla tracking.
Gorilla trek at. Enjoy the trek through the forest learning on other environmental attractions and vegetation and as soon as you get to the Gorilla Family, you will spend 1 full hour watching.
Learn how the Gorillas live and relate to each other as well as family formations and adaptability. Thereafter trek back to the starting point and be transferred back to your hotel for lunch.
Thereafter return back for dinner and overnight at either;

Day 9DRIVE TO LAKE MBURO National Park + PM GAME DRIVE/ SAFARI WALK (259kms / 6hrs)

Breakfast thereafter drive to Lake Mburo National Park and arrive at KimblaMantana Camp for check in and lunch.
In the afternoon head to Rwonyo Centre, the starting point of Nature hikes activities in the Park. Lake Mburo is a natural haven for flora and fauna and the Lake bank teems with animals and birds.
Nature guided walks in Mburo are ideal due to the absence of lions and elephants so the whole area is free for walking safaris and all you need is a game ranger guide to take you through the splendid Africa wilderness.
Nine of the fourteen magnificent lakes of lakeMburo can be seen when hiking on top of a hill the views are so striking and unforgettable indeed.
On walks you see zebras, topi, impalas, warthogs, buffaloes and many more. After the nature walk drive with more game viewing en-route back to your lodge.

Day 10DRIVE BACK TO ENTEBBE + DEPARTURE (264kms / 5hrs)

Breakfast and check out for a drive back to Entebbe with a stop at the Equator and lunch.
Proceed on to Entebbe Airport for your evening departure flight.
